Last updated: May 2026 · nimbleworx Pty Ltd

1. Who We Are

nimbleworx Pty Ltd operates the nimbleworx AI Academy at academy.nimbleworx.com.au. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

For any privacy enquiries, contact us at hello@nimbleworx.com.au.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following personal information:

  • Name and email address — provided when you create your account
  • Industry, business size, and AI experience level — optionally provided at sign-up to personalise your experience
  • Lesson progress and module completion — recorded automatically as you use the Academy
  • Lesson notes — personal notes you choose to write within lessons (entirely optional)
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details
  • Session cookies — used to keep you logged in between visits
  • IP address and browser information — collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure for security purposes

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide and manage your Academy subscription
  • Track your progress and personalise your learning experience
  • Send transactional emails (welcome message, login links, billing notifications)
  • Improve Academy content using anonymised, aggregated lesson notes (see Section 6)
  • Comply with legal and financial obligations

We do not use your data for targeted advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.

4. Who We Share It With

We share limited personal data with the following service providers, solely to operate the Academy:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant. See stripe.com/privacy.
  • Supabase — secure database and authentication infrastructure.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (login links, billing alerts).
  • Loops.so — email onboarding sequences (name and email address only).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any other third party.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use the following cookies:

  • ab_token — a session cookie that keeps you logged in. This is a strictly necessary cookie required for the Academy to function.
  • nw_cookie_consent — records your cookie consent preference for 12 months.

We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar services.

6. Lesson Notes and Anonymised Analysis

Your lesson notes are private to your account and are not visible to other members.

By accepting our Terms and Conditions, you grant nimbleworx a non-exclusive licence to use anonymised, aggregated note content for the purpose of improving and developing Academy course material. Anonymisation means your name, email, and any personally identifying information is removed before any analysis takes place. Your notes will never be published, shared with third parties, or attributed to you individually.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation in case you return.

If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance (for example, transaction records required under Australian tax law).

To request account deletion, email hello@nimbleworx.com.au.

8. Your Rights Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
  • Make a complaint if you believe we have mishandled your personal information

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@nimbleworx.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. Specific measures include:

  • Database row-level security policies so members can only access their own data
  • Passwords hashed using industry-standard algorithms — never stored in plain text
  • HTTPS enforced across all pages
  • Payment data handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details

No method of internet transmission is completely secure. While we use best-practice measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-Party AI Tools

The Academy recommends various AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, and others). When you use these tools, you are subject to their own privacy policies and data handling practices. We strongly recommend reviewing the privacy terms of any AI platform before entering client, confidential, or personally identifying information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
